New Arrivals

Joey Scouts

(ages 5 to 8)

Joey Scouts is where it all starts. Through games, stories, craft, and creative play, Joeys begin discovering the world around them and develop a sense of belonging in their Scout community.

Cub Scouts

(ages 8 to 11)

Cub Scouts takes things further with outdoor adventures, camps, and new skills. Cubs work in small teams called Patrols, learning the basics of leadership and teamwork through activities like bushwalking, bike rides, and on-water experiences.

Scouts

(ages 11 to 14)

Scouts is about building confidence, working as a team, and getting stuck into a wide range of challenges. From outdoor skills and camps to personal projects and community activities, the program is designed to develop real-world skills while keeping things active and fun.

Venturer Scouts

(ages 14 to 18)

Venturers plan and lead their own program. It's a mix of adventure, personal challenge, and friendship at a time when it matters most. Whether it's bushwalking, climbing, paddling, or pursuing a personal project, Venturers build skills and experiences that stick well beyond Scouting.

Scouts are Resilient

It’s official: Australian Scouts are more self-confident, better socially connected, feel good about themselves, are more positive at coping with life, and get on better with different people. They’re also proactive in dealing with their problems, and to talk with others if they’re upset, read more books for fun, and are less likely to use their devices overnight.

Research by Resilient Youth Australia has compared a national sample of Australian Scouts aged 8-18 with 110,000 of their peers. The result: Scouts generally feel more Connected, Protected and Respected. This means better mental health and a host of other advantages.
